MAINERMEDIA was built by a group of practitioners who chose to build here.
Our founders and collaborators are independent operators, strategists, artists, and technical builders who each spent more than a decade pursuing our own work across different industries, markets, and disciplines.
Many of us built experience outside of Maine. Some left and came back. Some considered leaving and chose to stay. All of us made a deliberate decision to focus our energy here.
We believe Maine is entering a period of rapid change. More people are moving here. More capital is flowing in. Technology is reshaping how businesses operate, hire, and compete. Progress will not slow down.
Our view is simple: if Maine is going to change, it should change in a way that benefits the people and businesses who are already here, and preserves the character that makes this place worth building in.
MAINERMEDIA exists to help build that future through strong businesses.
We work with forward-thinking owners and leadership teams to design digital infrastructure, systems, and operating models that make organizations easier to run, easier to scale, and better places to work.
By building the right digital foundations, we help companies streamline operations, onboard talent more effectively, improve decision-making, and compete in a more connected economy.
Our model is intentionally decentralized. We operate as a network of senior practitioners across multiple disciplines, assembling the right people around each engagement based on real operating experience—not titles or résumés.
We are not a traditional agency.
We are builders who now build for other builders.
The long-term goal is not growth for its own sake.
It is to help create stronger companies, healthier organizations, and more resilient industry ecosystems across Maine.
Over time, MAINERMEDIA is being built as an institution that can operate beyond any one individual, guided by a simple idea:
If you help good businesses win,
entire communities become stronger.
